Despite being deathly tired and disoriented, I went to my son’s assembly at school where he won the ‘Model Citizen’ award for his grade for excellent behavior and kindness. As you can tell, it runs in the family!
I also forgot his backpack so I had to return home and double back and didn’t make it to Gold’s until around 11am where a different crowd awaited me. In addition to my good friend Hidetada, I saw Raye Hollitt (Zap from Gladiators) and Mike OHearn (another gladiator).
Then around noon, some of the big dawgs rolled in. I’m talking Gunter, Ben Pakulski and some 202 dude — maybe Correa?
