Contest Prep?
« on: January 23, 2010, 05:50:22 PM »
Blockhead is one of the top contest prep gurus in the Midwest. And unlike the twinks who tell you what to eat and how to train while still looking like they're 150 lbs dripping weight, Blockhead knows of what he speaks. He is a top NPC amateur bodybuilder, having qualified for the Nationals each of the past three years. Furthermore, he has prepped both male and female bodybuilders, as well as fitness and figure competitors for National competition.

Most importantly, he promises that he won't charge you $350 and email you a diet straight out of Muscle & Fitness magazine.

Yeah, one of the things that is going to make MuscleWeek different is that we're going to worry more about protecting our posting members from hater attacks than we protect people who never bother posting on the boards.

So, sure, if you look like a pathetic, out-of-shape tool, we'll say that and try to induce a meltdown. But we absolutely WILL NOT TOLERATE pointing out window fans, stained carpet, unmade beds, bedsheets used as curtains and 1800 era faucets in the background. That's just uncalled for.

block! does know his shit, and he WONT inflate your ego..
while he went to pro-tan me at the leaky ceiling, toilet running, original Nautilus pull over machine having, bright green painted crawl space called pumps gym as soon as I lifted up my shirt, he told me to put it back on because I look 16 WEEKS OUT! I should have worked with block in the first place instead of that mandus-aster of a trainer that preped me in the past. Still I hear the echo's when I sleep ... "pull the potatooo ooo oo o..." "only Jenni-Ooo oo o"... "preworkouts? what like No-Plode?"... "You got legs, youll win"...

thank you block for saving me.
Somatomax time.. PEACE

"Yea I'm a fuckin guido, so what? Jersey's my home lookin bro"

I've been tight with Block for a while now and he's ALWAYS my first contact when I need help with contest prep/off season prep/supplement & gear advice/love & relationship advice.

Basically if it wasn't for Block, I'd be laying dead on the floor of Hooters (Block knows what I'm talking about).

Sir Block.......

How many months before OR how many "weeks out" before a contest would you have somebody who is either Natural or who uses gear to start training/dieting for a show? and if it was thier first time competing??

I would assume that Nancy Grace would need more prep time than Megan Kelly so it probably depends on how much of a fatass you are to start with.

I'm Alec Baldwin fat so I would need about 20 weeks, as opposed to Jack Black fat who needs 26 weeks or Zach Gollywannafuckus who is about 24 weeks.

 X2.

It all depends on who you are, where you are at NOW and what you're willing and not willing to do, how motivated you are, how disciplined, how this, how that...

Epic Bob Chick quad sweep, Marcus Haley arms and Ronnie Coleman calves!

Naaa... You look good, Mike. Do you think " nutritional coaches/gurus " are overrated?

Won the Lt. Heavy and overall. Was 194lbs, bould have been 4-6lbs lighter. Learned a lot by doiing it on my own. I do think it would help at times having a "guru", it would take some of the guess work out of it.

Did the USA in 1998 and got 16th out of 23 (Dugdale and Kris Dim were in my class). I'm hoping to qualify and do the Nationals this year.

Whoah! Looking amazing in that shot. Cicherillo wishes he had that quad sweep! Post some different shots so we can properly assess the weak points. What show did u win the overall?

Central Florida and Mid Florida. Weak points, everything needs to come up. Low back can be thicker, chest denser, more roundness to my delts, better hams, more seperation to my quads and calves.

Here are some pics from the hotel room and the link goes to the shots on stage
